Obituary of Florence Jackson

Jackson: Florence Isabelle a resident of Chatham, and formerly of Kitchener passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2009 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Jack Jackson (2002). Loving mother of Lawrence Jackson of Chatham, Robert & Marilyn Jackson of LaSalle, Marilou & Gilbert DeMaeyer of Chatham, Lee & Lynne Jackson of Kitchener. Forever missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sister of Gene & Dorothy Kelley, and the late Orville Kelley, Vernon Kelley, and Norma Buck. Dear sister in law of Dawna Kelley, Betty Harvey, and Beverly & Bob Phillips of Welland. Florence and Jack spent many passionate years roller skating and they became Canadian National Dance Champions in the 1940’s. Florence was also a long time employee of Bingemans and very much enjoyed being with all the many people that touched her life. Cremation has taken place. Interment of Florence and Jacks ashes will take place in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Fonthill, ON on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2p.m.. As expressions of sympathy donations to honour Florence’s life can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
