Obituary of Rita A. Urquhart

Urquhart: Rita A. (nee Houle), A resident of Chatham, Rita Urquahart passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the age of 84. Born in Dover Township, daughter of the late Alcide and Sarah (Bedard) Houle. Loving wife of the late Hubert Urquhart (1996). Dear mother to Pauline and Doug Babcock, Michael Urquhart, Paulette and Paul Parrish, Yvette and Murray Charron, David and Jeannette Urquhart. Proud grandmother to Daniel, Mathieu, Jennifer, Kari, Sondra, Racheal, Jason (Sommer), Ryan, Tyler, Steven, Katie and Jenna. Great-grandmother to Bianka, Katrina and Presley. Survived by her brother Robert Houle. Predeceased by her brothers Leo Houle, Everest Houle and her sister Florence. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers to be held at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Agnes Church 52 Croydon St. Chatham on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Rita’s life can be made to the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – M.R.I.
