Obituary of Herbert Charles Anderson

ANDERSON: Herbert Charles “Bert”, a resident of Chatham, Bert Anderson passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Rosemarie Anderson (nee Malott). Loving father of Vincent Anderson and his wife Mary Lynn of Chatham, Thomas Anderson and his companion Rachel of London, Laura Metcalfe and her husband Dale of Chatham and Maureen Anderson of Windsor. Step-father to Michelle Huckle of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Christopher Anderson, Danielle Anderson and Mia Metcalfe. Survived by his brothers and sisters Alice Anderson of White Rock, B.C., Tom Anderson and his wife Ann of Oakville, Catherine Conderon and her husband Ed of Mactier, Ruth Dunant-Mason and her husband Michael of Iles of Wight, England, Robert Anderson and his wife Lynn of Milton and Susan Anderson of Toronto. Predeceased by his sister Muriel Guerin. Bert was proud of his 40 year career as a real estate agent. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chris Quiring officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
