Obituary of Donald Edward Hunter

HUNTER: Donald Edward, a resident of Erieau, Donald Hunter passed away at his residence with family and friends by his side on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Kathleen Hunter (nee Allen). Loving father of Kim Hunter and his wife Nene of Erieau and Tammie Hunter of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Michelle, Jeremy, Ashley, Alyssia and Andrew. Predeceased by his grandson Charles (2007). Great-grandfather to Alyssa and Lennon. Survived by his sister Evelyn Hope and her husband Tom. Predeceased by his brothers Henry, Murray and Ronald. Donald was a member of the Moose Lodge 974, the Rondeau Rod and Gun Club and the Wabash Sportsman Club. Donald had retired from Navistar 17 years ago and ran Hunter Bros Baits with his brother Henry in Erieau for forty years. Cremation to take place and a private family service to be held at a later date.
