SIM: Bessie. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Barrie, Bessie Sarah Sim passed away at the Village, Ridgetown on Monday, September 7, 2009 at the age of 96. Born in Toronto, daughter of the late John and Edith (Barnes) Bolton. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Sim (1994). Dear mother of Gordon Sim and his wife Marielle of Barrie, Catherine Underwood of Ridgetown, and Allan Sim of Ridgetown. Grandmother of Mark Underwood of Langley, B.C., and Loree Bailey of Ridgetown. Great-grandmother of Matt Bailey of Ridgetown. Sister of the late Douglas Bolton (1968). An Open House in Bessie's honour will be held at the home of Catherine Underwood, 49 Ebenezer Street East, Ridgetown on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 12:00-5:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
