Schwandt: Lloyd Benjamin, a resident of Chatham. Lloyd B. Schwandt was received into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday September 9, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, at the age of 88. Born in Waterloo County, son of the late Benjamin William Charles & Annie Sophia (Searth) Schwandt. Lloyd was a Veteran of WW II, a member of the Chatham Baptist Church and a member of the Board of Directors for Gospel Text. Beloved husband of the late Alice Christine (Stover) Schwandt (April 6, 2008). Dear father of Wayne & Helen Schwandt, Chatham and their children Dawn & Paul Pereira, Byron, Jeremy & Todd; Grace Ann & Ralph Barnwell, Amherstburg and their children James McCallum, John Wayne & Susan McCallum; and the late Linda Wright (2000), her husband Paul Wright, Duart and their children Krista & Bryan Taylor, Miranda & Jonathan Smithyman. Great-Grandfather of Paige, Connor, Cole, Eathan, Kristopher, Justin, Noah and Dylan. Brother of Myrtle & Bert Dale, Pickering, and Muriel Martin, Waterloo, and her husband the late John Martin. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday September 11, 2009 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chatham Baptist Church, 124 William St. S., Chatham on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Tiffin officiating.
