COX: Russell. A resident of Blenheim, Russell H. Cox passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 87. Born in Unionville, son of the late Oscar and Laura (Harrison) Cox. Beloved husband of the late Hazel V. (Thompson) Cox (1972). Dear father of Wayne Cox of Blenheim. Grandfather of 2 and great-grandfather of 3. Brother of Edgar Cox of Markham, Hazel Olsen of Willowdale, Muriel Hickey of Willowdale and the late Harvey, Robert, and Clifford Cox. Russell was a former owner of the Cadillac Hotel in Blenheim from 1955-1971. He was a long time Standard Bred horse owner and trainer. Cremation with interment in Thornhill Cemetery at a later date.
