Obituary of James H. Morris

Morris: James Herbert. A resident of Thamesville, Jim Morris passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus at the age of 85. Born in Detroit, Michigan son of the late James and Emma (Smith) Morris. Dear husband of Norma Morris and father to Holden Morris. After retiring from Eaton Springs, Jim worked as a security guard at the former St. Joseph's Hospital, a job he enjoyed very much. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday September 25th from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. Fred Newcombe officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial donations to honour Jim’s life can be made to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
