Obituary of Eric Laurence Couture

Sadly we announce the sudden passing of Eric Couture on August 1, 2009. Eric had lived in Orlando, Florida for the past year after retiring from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He was the father of Gerald of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Grandfather of Nikaela also of Winnipeg. Eric was predeceased by his father Gerald of Erieau and his mother Estelle Morse (Provost) of Chatham. Eric is survived by his brother Clay Couture (Sandy) of Erieau and a sister Pam Arn (Brian) of Cambridge. Eric was blessed with two nephews and two nieces and great nephews and nieces that will miss him very much. Eric had joined the U.S. Military in 1966 and after serving almost twelve years, he left to finish his education at the University of Manitoba. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Customs and Border Protection for nineteen years. In his off hours, he enjoyed being part of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 10617 as a 4th degree Knight. Cremation has taken place.
