MAKEY: Lois (nee Wilbur). A resident of Chatham, Lois Makey died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at the age of 72. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Lloyd & Margaret Wilbur. Beloved wife of Gerry Makey of Chatham. Loving mother of Tim McLean of Chatham, Tammy McLean (Jean-Guy Michaud) of Chatham, Judie Kelley (Paul) of Chatham, Deanna Richardson (Tim) of Comber, and the late Evan Makey (1987). Cherished grandmother of Mandi, Shae-Lyn, Charli, Drew, Laura, Lacey, Mitchell, Dakota, and the late Joshua (2006). Great grandmother of Miranda. Dear sister of Bill Wilbur (Jan) of Chatham. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, and special friends Peachie & Mike Devolder. Lois worked at Bell Canada for 36 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the KBD Seniors Club. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday October 1, 2009 from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Morpeth Cemetery.
