Obituary of Kathleen Marion James

James: Kathleen Marion, (nee Jacques) Received her miracle when she was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus, at the age of 69. Born in Chatham on September 23, 1940, daughter of the late David and Phyllis (nee York) Jacques. Dear mother of Sherry Carpenter, Debbie Van Sickle, Darrell and Sue Van Sickle, Diana and Ken Stone and Shelley McLoughlin. Proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one great-grandchild and her sister Caroline Smith. Kathy worked and volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Store in Chatham. She will also be forever remembered as a woman very strong in her faith. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Evangel Community Church- 76 Sandys St. Chatham on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor William Pipke Jr. officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Memorial donations to honour Kathy’s life can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
