Coolen, Ellechien (Jean) Martha, a resident of Chatham. Jean Coolen went to be with her Lord on Thursday October 1, 2009 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home, Chatham at the age of 76. Born in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, daughter of the late George & Grace (DeHaas) Antuma. Beloved wife of Johan (Jeff) Coolen. Dear mother of Andrew & Nancy Coolen, Toronto; Derek Coolen, Markham; Marlene Coolen & Jeff Archer, Sarnia; Jeff & Marianne Coolen, Wellandport; Mark & Nicole Coolen, Southwold and Shawn & Julie Coolen, Chatham. Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Sister of Maryke & Francis James, Wallaceburg; Simon Antuma, Alberta; Driek Frak, Grande Point; Peter & Inske Antuma, London; Fred & Leann Antuma, Michigan; Marty & Keith Koke, Chatham; Els & Albert Van Schubert, Barrie and the late George Antuma, sister-in-law of Jean Antuma, Wallaceburg; Ria Coolen, Ajax and her husband the late Harry Coolen and John VandenTillaart and his wife the late Anne VandenTillaart. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Chatham Free Reformed Church, Gregory Drive, East, on Monday at 1:30 with Rev. H. VanEssen of Mitchell officiating. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Jean to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
