Obituary of Rhuda Raymer

A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Scarborough, Rhuda Raymer passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Four Counties Hospital, Newbury, at the age of 85. Born in Springdale Newfoundland to the late Katie (Payne) & Lloyd Young. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Raymer. Loving mother of Cindy & Ron Sass of Muirkirk. Cherished grandmother of Allison & Huey Beauchamp of Ridgetown and Melanie & Neal Orvis of Shanty Bay. Rhuda will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Wade Orvis, Codie Beauchamp, Logan Orvis, Alexia Beauchamp, and Hunter Orvis. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters Ella Pollard, Ruby Bartlett, Gary Young, Fern Young and sisters in-law Betty Young and Debbie Young. Predeceased by her brother Norman Young and brothers in-law Clay Pollard, George Bartlett and Gordon Miles. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. As per Rhuda’s wishes cremation has taken place. An Open House Celebration of Life will be held at Cindy & Ron Sass’ home on Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Parkinson’s Society or charity of One’s Choice may be made through the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown.
