Obituary of Leah Stansell

STANSELL: Leah Beverley (nee Gosnell)- A resident of Blenheim, Leah Stansell passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the age of 92. Born in Harwich Township to her late parents J. Lee and Annie Gosnell. Beloved wife of the late Preston Stansell (2003). Loving mother of Susan Beverley Griffiths (Robert) of Tampa, Florida and Harry Stansell (Mary Jane) of London. Proud grandmother of Anna (Michael), Peter, Meghan (Jim), Jillian (Scott) and Andrew (Kristin). Great-grandmother of Allison, Cole and newborn baby Jack. Leah was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her sisters Muriel Montgomery, Kathleen Gosnell, Jean Millard and Mildred Green. Leah was a member of the Blenheim United Church and the U.C.W. as well as a member of the Randolph Churchill chapter of the I.O.D.E. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Marwood officiating.
