Obituary of H. Victor Thibault

THIBAULT: H. Victor. A resident of Ridgetown, Victor Thibault passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the age of 82. Born in Chatham, son of the late Wilfred and Emma (Primeau) Thibault. Beloved husband of Mary (Miklovic) Thibault for 60 years. Dear father of Bonnie Cylwa and Val of Kelowna, B.C., Bernadette Morrell and Rae of Chatham, Victoria Everitt and Cal of Vancouver, B.C., and Paul Thibault of Woodstock. Grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 3. Predeceased by sisters Irene St. Pierre and Leona Banner. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Victor loved farming and was an avid woodworker and trapshooter. He was a retired farmer and retiree of Navistar. Victor was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown and a Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Ridgetown. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Knights of Columbus will hold a Vigil Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 26 George Street, Ridgetown on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Greg Mulligan the Celebrant. Cremation with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Howard Township.
