STIRLING: Mary Alice. A resident of Ridgetown, Mary Stirling passed away at the Village Long-Term Care Centre on Monday, October 19, 2009 at the age of 82. Born in Chatham Township, daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Montgomery) McKay. Beloved wife of the late Leroy D. Stirling (1998). Dear mother of John and Camillia Stirling of London, Robert and Cynthia Stirling of Ridgetown, Donald and Margaret Stirling of Welland, Kathy McKay of Tillsonburg, and Sally and Dale Dunlop of Ridgetown. Grandmother of Shawn, Shannon, Scott, Julie, Chris, Chad, Callie, Ryan, and Carly. Great-grandmother of Healey Jane, Brooklyn, Evan, and Keegan. Sister of the late Marjorie Emmott and her husband Jack of Burlington, and sister-in-law of Walt and Edna Stirling of Blenheim, and Ann Webster of Mississauga. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stirling was a member of Erie Street United Church, Ridgetown and Life Member of the U.C.W. She was a longtime member and Past-President of the I.O.D.E., Ridgetown and past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Judith Fayter officiating. Interment in Morpeth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Erie Street United Church or the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
