Obituary of Roger Savoie

SAVOIE, Roger Allain A resident of Chatham, Roger Savoie passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the age of 76. Born in New Brunswick, son of the late Edouard and Demerise Savoie. Loving husband of the late Rita Savoie. Dear father of Ronald Savoie of Costa Rica, Michel Savoie of Windsor, and Julien (Janet) Savoie of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Ryan(Amy), Brent Savoie and their mother Ginny Savoie; Jesse and Stephanie and their mother Mary Duckworth. Survived by his sisters Germaine Albert and Lydia Rousell. Predeceased by his brothers Joseph Savoie, Eymard Savoie, Lucien Savoie, Gerard Savoie, and his sisters Catherine Lanteigne, Theresa Breau, and Marie-Anne LesGresley. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers to be held at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon St., Chatham on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
