WATTS: Mary Naomi. A resident of Blenheim, Mary Watts passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the age of 95. Born in Huffman's Corners, daughter of the late Clarence and Jennie (Cundle) Huffman, and step-daughter of the late Helena Huffman. Beloved wife of 59 years of the late Joseph Watts (1997). Loving mother of Leroy Watts and Marie of Blenheim, Joseph and Joan Watts of Prince George, B.C., and mother-in-law of Thelma Watts of Ridgetown. Survived by her grandchildren Jamie and Renee Watts of Fort Smith, N.W.T., Darren Watts of Ridgetown, Darryl and Kelly Watts of Ridgetown, Juli and Lee McEachran of Blenheim, Jason and Valerie Watts of Blenheim, and Jodi Watts of Edmonton. Great-grandmother of Jara and Jenni Watts, Krystal, Drew, and Leah Watts, and Erin and Connor McEachran. Great-great-grandmother of 2. Sister of Margaret Crawford of Florida, and predeceased by her brother George Huffman (2005). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was an active member of Huffman's United Church. She taught Sunday School for 19 years, was leader of the Mission Band for 14 years, and active in Women's Groups. When Huffman's United Church closed, she joined Blenheim United Church and was active there in Women's Groups. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Linda McFadden officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the Blenheim United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
