Obituary of Evelyn Arnold

Arnold, Evelyn: A resident of Chatham and formerly of Stephenville, Newfoundland, Evelyn Arnold passed away at home on Thursday November 5, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Stephenville, daughter of the late Leo & Lorina (Mclain) Gallant. Beloved wife of 10 years to Evan Arnold, and the late Maxim Perrier (1985). Evelyn will be missed by her children Cora Petrilli ( Junior Quirk), Harriett Perrier, Charles Perrier (Carolyn), Patricia Chase (Ronald), Bertha Swanson (Don), and Corina Boston (Bill). She will be fondly remembered by her step-children David Arnold (Elaine) and Amy Hogg (John). Forever missed by her 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 13 surviving brothers and sisters. Evelyn enjoyed the time she spent volunteering at the Adult Lifestyle Centre. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Saturday November 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Interment in St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Evelyn would be appreciated.
