MARCUS: Maurice Peter. A resident of Tilbury, Maurice Marcus died at his residence on Saturday November 7, 2009 with his loving family by his side. Born in Wallaceburg, 75 years ago, son of the late Frank & Bertha (Janssens) Marcus. Beloved husband of 50 years to Yolande Marcus (Delrue). Loving father of Marlene Nead (Barry) of Windsor, Diane Armstrong (Wayde) of Tilbury, Linda Richie (Mark) of Tilbury, and Brian Marcus (Tracy) of Chatham. Cherished grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 6. Predeceased by one grandson Jason in 2008. Dear brother of Edward Marcus (Yvonne) of Wallaceburg, Annie VanRuymbeke (George) of Wallaceburg, and Ronald Marcus (Mary Lou) of Chatham. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Maurice was an ambitious and hardworking farmer and entrepreneur, who also worked in a number of factories and operated a tool business for several years.
