WEAVER: Lyle. A resident of Chatham Retirement Resort, and formerly of Chatham Township, Lyle Weaver died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday November 23, 2009. Born in Chatham, 102 years ago, son of the late Frank & Edith (Catton) Weaver. Beloved husband of 80 years to Doris (Rankin) Weaver. Loving father of Ronald Weaver & his wife Rosemary of Lakeland, Florida, Barbara McGregor & her husband Donald of Chatham, Vince Weaver & his wife Yvonne of London, and the late Judy Weaver (2001). Cherished grandfather of Scott Weaver, Mark & Cindy Weaver, Jill Ferren, Pam Weaver, Trace & Maria Weaver, Michelle & Les Hoffman, Melody & Rob Bossence, Chris Weaver, and Alison Weaver. Great grandfather of 12. Dear brother of Hazel Brodie of Gananoque, Margaret Cochrane & her husband Doug of Toronto, and the late Mabel Masterson, Gordon Weaver, and Alva Weaver. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Lyle enjoyed a long and successful career as a farmer in Chatham Township. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday November 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment at Arnold Cemetery, Chatham Township at a later date.
