Obituary of Donald William Ross

Ross: Donald William - A resident of R.R. #2 Chatham, Don Ross passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- Chatham Campus on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at the age of 82. He was born in Chatham in 1927, son of the late Alexander and Dora (Jacobs) Ross. Dear husband of the late Thelma Marie (Ripley) (2002). Loving father of Diana and husband Howard Vaughan of Chatham and their children David and Diane Fahey, Todd and Shannon Walukiewicz and Kelsey Vaughan, Randy and Lynda Ross of Ridgetown and their children Kathryn and Chris Manley and Mark. Predeceased by daughter Angela (1959). Cherished great-grandfather of Kevin and Quinn Fahey, Allie Walukiewicz and Eric Manley. Special companion to Maxine Rylett. Survived by his brother Ewen Ross (Marg) and his sister Ann Snider (Jim). Predeceased by his sister Jessie Leach (Ivan). Don was proud of having farmed in Chatham Township all of his life. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham, on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Aarssen officiating. :Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
