Obituary of Irene McLarty

McLarty, Irene a resident of R.R#2 Chatham passed away at home on November 28, 2009 at the age of 81. Beloved wife for 47 years to the late Donald McLarty (1997). Irene will be missed by her children Maryann & Paul Murray of Carlisle, and Ian McLarty of Chatham. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer, Sean, Ellen, Carolyn, Stephanie, Howard, Samantha and her great grandson Marcus. Survived by her sister Virginia Wright. Predeceased by her granddaughter Martha Dawn, her two brothers George Herbert and George Crosby, and sister Bertha Janet. Irene worked for many years as a nurse for the Public General Hospital. In keeping with Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society in memory of Irene would be appreciated by the family.
