Obituary of Margaret Maynard

MAYNARD: Margaret (nee Sprague) A resident of Chatham, Margaret Maynard died peacefully at Copper Terrace Nursing Home, on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at the age of 89. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late John & Rena (Aspden) Sprague. Beloved wife of the late James F. Maynard (2001). Loving mother of James K. & Karen Maynard of Chatham. ‘Nanny’ will be missed by her grandchildren Beth (David) Maynard-Drewery, Michelle (Paul) Marchand, and Jennifer Maynard, and her great grandchildren James A. Maynard-Drewery, Michael Maynard-Drewery, Justin Maynard Drewery, and Emily Maynard-Drewery. Sister of Joan Piggot of London and the late Burt Sprague, Hazel Graves and Ruby Campbell. Margaret was an employee of Eaton’s for 40 years until her retirement in 1974. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home, with Rev.
