Obituary of John Kenneth Rayment

Rayment; (Jack) John Kenneth, a resident of Chatham. Jack Rayment died Sunday December 13, 2009 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 79. Born in Tillsonburg, son of the late Cortland Bruce & Nellie Elizabeth (Vansickle) Rayment. Beloved husband of Constance Elizabeth Anne (Cherie) (MacDonald) Rayment. Dear father of Beth Anne & David Goos, Rodney; Becky & Ken Allen, Chatham and son James Kenneth from a previous marriage. Grandfather of Kendra Lynne, Andrea Elizabeth, Alex Nicole and Maddison Rebecca. Brother of Oliver Bruce Rayment & his wife the late Maxine, Chatham; Lulu & Floyd Croucher, Brampton and the late Erl Rayment. Also survived by sister-in-law Shirley Rayment, Chatham and several nieces and nephews. Jack was an employee of International for 31 years before his retirement in 1981. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday December 17, 2009 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:30 p.m with Bonnie Harvey officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Jack to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
