Obituary of Margaret 'Lynn' Paraskevopoulos

PARASKEVOPOULOS, Margaret “Lynn” a resident of Chatham. Margaret Paraskevopoulos passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer on Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance at the age of 45.Born in Chatham, daughter of William & Patricia Cragg. Survived by her loving husband Jim Paraskevopoulos, and their children Ashley, Gregory, and Bradley. Sister of Lillian Cragg of Chatham and Shelly McKee (Jeff), stepsister to Joe Glover (Shelly), Marty Glover, and Peter Cragg (Roberta) all of Chatham. Dear daughter in law of Eleni & Haralambos Paraskevopoulos of Chatham. Also survived by her two brother in-laws Nick (Dina) Paraskevopoulos, Steve Paraskevopoulos, and her sister in law’s Cathy (Jim) Babalis, and Margo Paraskevopoulos. Predeceased by two brother in-laws Tom Paraskevopoulos, Eric Paraskevopoulos, and grandparents OJ & Mary Martin, and Marjorie & Donald Cragg. She will be missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Lynn was a dedicated employee at Shoppers Drug Mart for 20 years. Family to receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home on Wednesday December 16, 2009 from 3-5 & 7-9. Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nektarios Church. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
