Deneau, Alex, A resident of Chatham. Alex Deneau died Wednesday January 13, 2010 surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus, at the age of 81. Born in Dover Township son of the late Alexander Joseph & Victoria Octavia (Rose) Deneau. Beloved husband of Geraldine E. (Garrod) Deneau. Dear father of Brad Deneau; Janet (Ric) Pollock; Randy (Jessie) Deneau; Greg (Anita) Deneau; Mark (Janine Songer) Deneau and a late infant son Matthew. Grandfather of Brad (Julie) Deneau; Jonathan Pollock; Matthew (Deanna) Deneau; Nicole (Jason Todd) Caldwell; Robert Deneau; Charles Pollock; Joshua Deneau and Gregg Deneau. Great Grandfather of Justice; Hailey; Ethan; Ava; Teeley & Braydee. Brother of Nelson (Betty) Deneau; Leonard (Madeline) Deneau; Norma Labute; Delmer (Janet) Deneau; Maxine (Larry) Throsel; Diane (Ted) Marentette and the late Josephine Moore; Dorothy Rabideau; Gwen Foster; Margie Wolfenden and Roxy Bondy. Mr. Deneau enjoyed hunting, golfing, watching sports and was a member of Country View Golf Club and the local U.A.W. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Saturday January 16, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 1:30 With Rev.
