Obituary of William Gerald 'Newf' Ryan

RYAN: William Gerald (Newf)- A resident of Chatham, born in Newfoundland, William Ryan died peacefully at the Windsor Regional Hospital on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Norma Ryan. Loving father of David and Claudette Ryan of Chatham, Lisa Ryan and Mike of Chatham, and Crystal Ryan and Chris of Chatham. Papa will also be missed by his five grandchildren, Julie, Dustin, Dylan, Patrick and April. Brother of Bessie and Herb Morgan of Newfoundland, Gordon and Pearl Ryan of Newfoundland and Shirley Schmidt of Chatham. Survived by his mother-in-law Irene Brisley. Dear brother-in-law to Bill and Joan Brisley. Bill was a retired employee of Siemens, an active member of the Imperial Club of Chatham and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 628.
