Obituary of Norma Louise Ireland

IRELAND, Norma Louise (Fair). A resident of Chatham, Norma Ireland passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Riverview Gardens in Chatham on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the age of 91.Born in Chatham, she is the daughter of the late Cora and Clinton Fair. Wife of 63 years to the late John Ireland(2005). Dear mother of the late Tom Ireland(2003). Cherished grandmother of Krista Ireland and her partner Johnathan Wills of London, Tara Ireland and husband Jason Callow of London, and Kim Ireland-Pottier and her husband Roger Pottier. Proud great grandmother of McKenna and Hali Callow and Paul, Sean and Alex Pottier. Beloved sister of Russell Fair of Toronto, Les Fair of Shedden and Evelyn Evans of Chatham. Norma will also be lovingly remembered by Denise and Saundra. Norma was an active member of the Chatham Glee Club, the Wheels Tennis Club, and the Chatham Cultural Centre. A celebration of Norma's life will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery Legion Chapel on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Cremation has taken place.
