Obituary of Paul Joseph Pabisiak

Pabisiak: Paul Joseph, A resident of Chatham, Paul Pabisiak passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance- Chatham Campus on Tuesday, February 15, 2010 at the age of 80. Born in Lisse, France, son of the late Valentin and Catherine (Latochinska) Pabisiak. Beloved husband of 51 years to Rachael (Chevalier). Dear father to Alen Pabisiak and his friend Rita Godin of New Brunswick, Fernand and Tammy Pabisiak of Tilbury, Lucy and Mark O’Neill of Chatham. Proud grandfather to Brian, Stephanie, Richard, Cameron, Connor, Grant and Jessica. Paul is survived by his sister Martha and his brother Pierre both of France. He is predeceased by his sister Stephanie and his brothers Fernand and Edward. Paul’s memory will live on in his family and those that had the privilege to truly know him. He will forever be remembered for his love and passion for art, the great outdoors and most of all his grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Frank Leslie officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to honour Paul’s life can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
