Obituary of Jacob VanderGaag

VANDERGAAG: Jacob - A resident of Chatham, Jacob VanderGaag passed into glory at his residence with family by his side on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Nel VanderGaag. Loving father of Mariann Baartman (Andrew) of Gormley, Gerald VanderGaag (Nancy) of Chatham, Wendy Mans (Nick) of Langley, B.C., Sharon Salomons (Henry) of Vineland, and Yolanda Baartman (Dave) of Langley, B.C. Proud grandfather and great-grandfather of 28 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Arend VanderGaag (Minke) of Smithers, B.C., Jo VanHoulingen of Monster, The Netherlands, Leny Schoonhoven of Thornhill and Ann Bultje (John) of Chatham. Predeceased by his sister Margaret van Oudheusden and his brother Pete VanderGaag. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:30 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave. East, on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
