Obituary of Paul Dilliott

DILLIOTT: Francis Xavier Paul. A resident of R.R.#1, Ridgetown, Paul passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at the age of 84, with his family by his side. Born in Howard Township, son of the late Joseph H. and Muriel M. (Drew) Dilliott. Beloved husband of E. Anne "Peggy" (O'Neil) Dilliott. Dear father of M. Maureen (Dilliott) and Paul G. Woodall of Victoria, B.C. and the late M. F. Patrick Dilliott (Sept. 8, 1984). Grandfather of Corey J. Woodall of Victoria, B.C.; and Adam M. Woodall of Vancouver, B.C. Brother of Arch J. and Lorraine (Eisworth) Dilliott and their family of Ridgetown; Jack and Beverly (Bishop) Dilliott of Alliston and their family; Bernard A. and Roelie (Sissing) Dilliott of London and their family; survived by special friend and nephew Shaun and Lori (Conliffe) Dilliott of R.R.#1 Muirkirk and their family, Gregory, Jamie, Allison, and Rachel; Michael & Jackie (Grass) O'Neil of Wallaceburg and their family; Ted and Jane (Lahaye) O'Neil of Sarnia, and their family; the daughters of the late Charles and Dorothy Franklin and their families. Predeceased by brother Louis G. Dilliott (1938); sister Anna J. M. Dilliott (1947); nephew Duane A. Dilliott (1978); sister-in-law A. J. "Toni" (Yazbeck) Dilliott (1982); brother-in-law Charles Franklin (1992); sister-in-law Dorothy M. (O'Neil) Franklin (2009); and best friend Clare Simpson (1996). Visitation and parish prayers were held at the funeral home on Friday afternoon and evening. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Ridgetown, on Saturday, February 27 with Fr. Tamil Govindaraju the celebrant. Interment was in the Family Plot at St. Michael's Cemetery, Howard Township.
