Obituary of Joseph Thompson

THOMPSON: Joseph - A resident of Blenheim Joseph Thompson passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 surrounded by his family at the age of 71. Born in Blenheim, son of the late Robert and Mary Thompson. Beloved husband of the late Diana (Stover) Thompson (2001). Loving companion to Verna Seal of Blenheim. Cherished father of Tara Dease and her husband David of Chatham, and Seann Ferris and his wife Jenn of Sarnia. Proud and devoted grandfather to Nathaniel Whittall, Drayden Dease, Laikyn Dease, Baillie Ferris, and Noah Ferris. Joseph is survived by his sister Margaret La Bonte of Charing Cross and his Mother-in-law Marie Brock of Tilbury. Brother-in-law to Dan Stover and his wife Maxine of Chatham, Cindy George and her husband Reg of Red Bay and Debbie Turner and her husband Ron of Bowmanville. Predeceased by his sisters Mildred Bentley and Becky Nadjzion, and his brothers Bill Thompson, Bob Thompson, Jack Thompson and George Thompson. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Tim Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family interment to take place at a later date.
