Obituary of Bob Donais

Donais: Robert “Bob”, A resident of Chatham, Bob Donais passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Chatham Campus on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the age of 66. Born in Tilbury, son of the late Alphonse and Eileen (nee St. Denis) Donais. Loving husband of Mary Donais (nee Tilley). Dear father of Robert Sweet Jr. and his wife Barb of Wallaceburg, Eileen Donais of Chatham. Father-in-law of Jennifer O’Meara. Predeceased by sons Ron Donais (1979) and Cliff Donais (2006). Proud grandfather to Michael, Ryan, Chris, Jenny, Sarah Beth, Ethan and great-grandfather to Tamara. Dear brother to Annette Donais, Cathy Hellings, Tom Donais, Jim Donais, Carol Anne Martin, Diane Hutchins and her husband Gary, Vince Donais and his friend Nancy. Predeceased by his brothers Ron, Oscar and John. Bob will also be remembered and missed by many other family members and friends. Family will received friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St Clair St. Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at Gregory Drive Alliance Church, 255 Gregory Drive W. Chatham on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Bob’s life at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment in Botany Cemetery at a later date.
