Sousa Medeiros: Jose H. "Joe" It is with profound sadness that the family of Joe Medeiros announce the sudden passing of their son and brother on March 23, 2010 at the age of 48. Born in Flores, Açores; son of Maria Sousa Medeiros of Chatham and the late Joao de Oliveira Medeiros (1992). Dear brother of Adriana Medeiros of Thunder Bay, Cristina Medeiros or California and Jeannie Medeiros of Chatham. Joe will also be dearly missed by his niece Carina Luis Medeiros Bruette and her husband Mike Bruette. Predeceased by his brother Joao Paulo Medeiros. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 184 Wellington St. W. Chatham on Saturday, March 27. 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Eugene Roy celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.
