Obituary of Chris Rogers

ROGERS: Chris. A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Toronto, Chris Rogers passed away at the Village Long-Term Care Residence, Ridgetown on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the age of 98. Born in Johnston, Scotland, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Hargreave) Monteith. Beloved wife of the late Henry Rogers (1981). Dear mother of Chris Ackford of Ridgetown and her late husband Ken (1991). Grandmother of Nancy Cudmore (Roger) of Ridgetown, Lisa Okkema (John) of Ridgetown, and Jennifer Ackford of London. Great-grandmother of Gregory Cudmore, Sarah Cudmore, Brent Watson, Lyndsay Watson, and Allie Okkema. Sister of the late Nancy Ryan (Ted), Peggy Pilon (Chuck), David Monteith (May), and Bill Monteith (Connie). Mrs. Rogers was a longtime member of the Christian Church, Ridgetown, and had served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Saturday, April 3, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
