Obituary of Harry Dutka

DUTKA, Harry a resident of Chatham, Ontario and formerly of Selkirk, Manitoba passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, April 4th, 2010 at the age of 89. Born in Sundown, Manitoba to the late Theodore & Mary (Kalucka) Dutka. Beloved husband for 60 years to Emily Dutka (Cmelo). Cherished father of Joyce & Kerry Columbus of Barrie, Harry F. & Ellen Dutka of Taylor MI, Sonya Babcock of Wallaceburg, and Cathy Rowe of Chatham. Forever missed by his grandchildren Tanya Columbus, Sean Columbus, Naomi Steele, Paul Dutka, Nathan Babcock, and Joel Babcock. Survived by his sister Lena Kelebay of Winnipeg. Predeceased by his 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Harry was a Canadian WW II Veteran. He owned and operated a barber shop for several decades, most recently at Ideal Barber Shop, Chatham, Ontario. Family to receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, Ontario on Friday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Chatham Ontario. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
