Obituary of Henry J. Audette

AUDETTE: Henry J. A resident of Chatham, Henry Audette passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 82. Born in Port Alma, son of the late Emeline (Simard) & Philias Audette. Beloved husband, for 51 years, of the late Jean Gwendoline (Skipper) Audette (2005). Dear father of Greg Audette of Wallaceburg, and Bonnie & Barry Sullivan of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Kasie and Kourtny Audette and Natasha and Brooke Sullivan. Dear brother of Treffle Audette of Chatham, Marie Bechard of Chatham, Francis (Scott) Audette of Chatham, Doreen & Ken Skipper of Chatham, Vince & Shirley Audette of Tilbury, Jean Quenneville of Chatham, and brother in-law John & Sandy Skipper of Fletcher. Henry is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service, at the Funeral Home, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010. Cremation to follow with interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations made in memory of Henry to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Asthma Society of Canada or Canadian Diabetes Association are welcomed and appreciated.
