Obituary of Clifford H. Sterling

Sterling: Clifford Harold, A resident of Chatham, Clifford Sterling passed away at Riverview Gardens on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the age of 80. Born in Chatham, son of the late Dominic and Theresa (nee Coutre) Sterling. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Sterling (nee Hilton) (1993). Dear father to Penny and her husband Mark Windover, and Thomas Sterling. Proud grandfather to Michael Murphy. Survived by his sister Cecile Ghan, his brother Rosaire Sterling and his wife Ruth. Brother-in-law to Audrey Hilton, Maureen Sterling and Betty Sterling. Predeceased by his brothers Donald, Lionel and Jerry. Clifford was a retired employee of Eaton-Yale in Chatham. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon St Chatham, on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Daniel Bombardier celebrant. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham, at a later date.
