Obituary of Ileen Almas

ALMAS: Ileen Winnifred, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Meadow Park Nursing Home on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the age of 88. Born in Chatham to the late Wesley & Margaret McIntyre. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Almas (1967), and the late Robert Bridges (1942). Cherished mother of Patricia Almas of Chatham, and Audrey Gander also of Chatham. Grandmother to Randy, John Jr., and Michael Gander. Forever missed by her two great-grandchildren Jason & Jacob Gander. Survived by her brothers Donald McIntyre of Chatham, and Kenny McIntyre also of Chatham. Predeceased by her brother Fred McIntyre (2004), and her sisters Jean McIntyre (2003), Laura McIntyre (1996), and Kathleen Morton (2004). Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
