Obituary of Robert Neil

NEIL: Robert “Bob” Nevin – A resident of Chatham, Ontario, Robert Neil died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 75. Born in Chatham, Ontario son of the late Clarence Orville and Mary Hazel (West) Neil. Beloved husband of 50 years to Margaret Rose (Genyn) Neil. Predeceased by his brothers, Douglas Roy (1967) and Kenneth Murray (1997), a sister Ellenore Joyce Revell (1984). Survived by his wife Margaret and sisters Marilyn Eileen Wild of Chatham and Janet Ruth Ann Van Allen of The Villages Florida. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 with Bev Thomson officiating. Cremation to follow with inurnment at the New Mausoleum at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
