Obituary of Heather Jean Hunter

HUNTER: Heather Jean (Read) A resident of Chatham, Heather Hunter died on Monday, July 5, 2010 at her home, after a battle with bone cancer. She leaves behind her husband, best friend, and companion, of 46 years, David ‘Dave’ Hunter, son Paul and his wife Caroline, daughter Bonnie and her husband Alan Goldsmith, two grandchildren Braden and Lyrissa Goldsmith, and some four-legged companions who are also part of the family: Charity, Jeannie, and Junior. Heather has one surviving sister Marney Nichols and her husband Alfred (Nick). Also survived by her niece Michele Zavitz (Rick), nephew Mike Nichols (Lisa), and great nieces and nephews Sara Zavitz, Nick Zavitz, and Matthew Nichols. She is also remembered by many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, and nephews who are on the Hunter side of the family in Hamilton, Brantford, Bracebridge, Chatham, and Alberta. She also has many cousins in the Chatham and London areas. Heather enjoyed her work and services for all the patients at Dr. Aerssen at Chiropractic Wellness Centre from August 6, 1985 until recently, when her health forced her to retire a little earlier than expected. To all those patients, she wishes them the best of health in the future.
