Obituary of William Collins

COLLINS: William K. “Coot”. A resident of Rondeau, William “Coot” Collins passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the age of 50. Born in Chatham, son of Jack Collins and his wife Marcella Kenty of Blind River, and Diane Côté and her husband Lou of Chatham. Spouse of Joy Gagne. Father of Billy Collins, Beau Collins, and Amanda Collins of Erieau, and step-father of C.J. McClung and his wife Nicole of Blenheim. Grandfather of Savannah, Hailey, and Alexander. Brother of Chrissie and Pete Laurie of Blenheim, John and Deb Collins of Tillsonburg, and Chuck and Bonnie Collins of Tillsonburg. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Coot worked for 25 years aboard the “Cindy Lou” in Erieau. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
