Obituary of Barbara Britton

BRITTON, Barbara, a resident of London and formerly of Chatham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the age of 68. Born in Chatham to the late Jack & Irene White. Beloved wife and soul mate of 29 years to Ron Britton. Cherished mother to Dan Marchand (Julie), Janice Huson, Catherine Marchand and Annette Silva. Cherished step-mother of Deb Skipper (Damian), Mark Britton (Lou Ann), and Scott Britton (Leslie). Forever missed by her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her furry companions Bo & Buddy. Survived by her brother Jack White. Predeceased by sisters Pat & Kay White, Brenda Williams, and Betty Ann Crowe. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
