Nordin; Wilaine Anne (Willie)(Sam), a resident of Chatham. Wilaine (Willie)(Sam) passed away Sunday July 25, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 65. Born in Chatham daughter of the late Gordon Proctor & Ann (Antaya) Ward. Beloved wife of Gary E. Nordin of Chatham. Dear mother of Steven & Lisa Nordin, Cambridge. Grandmother of Tyler Nordin. Sister of Helen & Bill Smith, Chatham; Janet & Terry Skipper, Chatham and the late Derril Ward (2006). Also survived by sister-in-law Pat Ward, Everitt, Ontario, 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; Mary Waekens (late Cam) Chatham, Irene (Darrel) Pinot, Janet Nordin, Wayne (Nancy) Nordin, Carl Nordin, Ernie (Brenda) Nordin, Vincent Nordin, Nova Scotia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wilaine was a former hairdresser at Grand Beauty Salon; a long time employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia. A former Kinette, Wilaine loved to garden, was an avid golfer and cherished her animals and her cup of tea. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday July 30, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Millward officiating. Interment of the Urn at a later date.
