Obituary of Gary McCormick

McCormick, Gary A resident of Chatham, Gary Hugh McCormick passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the age of 63. Born in Chatham, loving son to the late Hugh & Lena (nee Phillips) McCormick. Cherished husband and best friend of 37 years to Linda McCormick (nee Driessens). Survived by his beloved son Jeff McCormick. Gary leaves behind his sister Karen McCormick, and brother in-law Alan Driessens (Linda). Forever missed by his two nieces, nephew,several cousins and Godchildren Tom, Chris, and Kerri. Predeceased by his furry friend Topaz who will be waiting for him on the Rainbow Bridge. Gary worked for the St. Clair Catholic District School Board at St. Joseph’s Catholic School; Chatham, Service Manager at Dresden Motors, and Assistant Service Manager at Chatham Motors. Gary had a great love for horses, and enjoyed the great outdoors of Northern Ontario. His kind, loving, and gentle feelings will be forever missed. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
