KORMENDY: Mary Ann. A resident of Blenheim, Mary Kormendy passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, with her family by her side, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the age of 76. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Cerney) Majek. Beloved wife of the late John Kormendy Jr. (1970) and the late Harold Huckle (2002). Dear mother of Helen Reeves and Tom Hazlett of Blenheim, Nancy Kormendy and Mark DeLaet of Blenheim, and the late Thomas Kormendy (2007) and his late wife Diane (2004). Mary will also be remembered by Harold’s children. Grandmother of David Reeves and his wife Dianna, Tom Kormendy, Rose Kormendy, Steven DeLaet, Sara DeLaet, and step-granchildren Jason Levert, and Shana Levert. Great-grandmother of Blake, Owen, and Alexis. Sister of twin brother Francis Majek of Kent Bridge, and John Majek of Kent Bridge. Mrs. Kormendy was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blenheim and the C.W.L. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr.
