HOWE: Aurelia Emma (nee Glass) A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Windsor, Aurelia Howe passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 68. Born in Germany, loving daughter of Mrs. Edith (Matschulat) Glass of Kingsville and the late Edward Glass. Beloved wife of Jim Howe. Aurelia will be missed by her children Jamie & Kari Howe, Cindy Roy, and Derek & Natalie Howe, all of Chatham. Proud grandmother of Jacob Roy, Hayden Howe, Harrison Howe, Brett Howe, and Brooke Howe. Dear sister of Margaret Glass of Kingsville and Wally & Tanis Glass of Toronto. Remembered by her brothers and sisters in-law Maxine & John Darlison of Windsor, Debbie & John McCallum of Winnipeg, Jan Howe of Vancouver, Don & Bev Howe of Winnipeg, and Maureen & John Reid of Vancouver. Aurelia is survived by her nieces and nephews Nathan Glass, Sarah Glass, Jeff Darlison, and Cathy & Wayne Preney. Also survived by her step-father in-law Don Hunt, her aunt Emma Keller, and many cousins.. Predeceased by her mother in-law Ann Hunt, her father in-law Mac Howe and his wife Sherry, and her nephew Jonny Darlison. Aurelia was a longtime member of Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Family always came first for Aurelia, and her grandchildren were her greatest passion. Please join Aurelia’s family as they receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 14, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 27 Spruce St. N. Kingsville, Ontario. Funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church.
