Obituary of David Leach

LEACH, David Richard A resident of Chatham, David Leach passed on to heaven after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the age of 66. Beloved husband to Donna (nee Brown). Survived by his daughters Christine Gordon (Wayne) of Labrador, Charlene Morillo (Randi) of Windsor, and son Daniel (Jessica) of Chatham. Loved by his step-children Kathy Howes, Julie Richmond, David Deighton all of Chatham, and Brenda Deighton of Fort St. John, B.C.. Forever missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Rachel, Cassandra, Alyssa, and step-grandchildren Morgan, Taylor, Reece, Cohen, Drew, Lola, Gabe. Greatly missed by his furry friends Bailey & Sammie. Dave was a long time Chatham Ford Dealership parts employee who loved his work. Dave was a well-liked man by all who knew him. He was very passionate about his grandchildren, horses, John Wayne and his home. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
