Obituary of George Good

GOOD: George Leonard A resident of Chatham, George Good passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010, at Riverview Gardens, at the age of 86. Born in Fillmore Sk, son of the late Ira & Mable (Hart) Good. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Lucille (Reaume) Good (2010). Dear father to Bev Freeborn (John), Doug Good (Valerie), Gary Good (Raymond). Predeceased by his daughter Kelly (1954). Proud grandfather to Leigh Chambers (Tanner), Ian Freeborn, Don Ritchie, Darnell Brown and great-grandfather to Teagan Chambers, Cooper Chambers, and Brooklyn Ritchie. George is predeceased by his brother Edward Good. He is survived by his sister in-law Sheila Good and many nieces and nephews. George served overseas during WWII in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He has been a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 28. George worked for Ontario Hydro as an operator for 35 years. He then became a member of the Ontario Hydro Pensioners Group. George was an avid golfer and was a member of Country View Golf Course.
